I was skeptical when I purchased my Stoko Men's K1 Flux. From the moment I tried them on, it gave fantastic support. I have had multiple knee surgeries and a torn hip labral tear. I wear the K1s when I run and play hockey. I feel much more confident when I wear them and that translates into higher energy and better performance. I can confirm that the K1s provide excellent support.

A true ski baselayer would be a mesh of both the 2nd gen and K1. When skiing I actually prefer the K1 because it’s a higher cut at the leg. You do not want this material inside your boots. The 2nd gen has too much material in your boots. But the K1 lacks the male pee pocket. So though the K1 works best in skiing , it’s very hard to take a leak.

Still, please make a 3rd gen that has the similar leg cut as the K1 with a pee pocket. Thanks

Seem to be well made and suit for purpose

I don’t often write reviews…Only when something is really, really worth it. These knee support pants are amazing. I was looking for an alternative to my custom fit titanium brace after re-injuring my knee with the brace on while active. I don’t recall how I heard about this company, but with the money back guarantee I figured why not try. They are tight to fit into initially, but immediately felt more supportive than any brace I had ever previously used bringing back full confidence in quick movements. More so, within about 7 months of x2-3 use/week the cables did malfunction…Stoko was easy to deal, timely, and shipped me a new pair under warranty as advertised.

I have been using these consistently for over a year now and haven’t felt weak/sore or worried about my knee once.

For context:

In 2015 I had partial tears of my MCL and ACL, no surgery. Rehab and brace only.
Injured my meniscus with brace on in 2022. My weakness and lack of confidence since 2015 was always mainly side to side movement/pivoting with speed/force.

Since switching to Stoko pants I haven’t had any issues, nor the soreness afterwards with the following activities:

Ball hockey/hockey
Squash
Pickle ball/tennis
Volleyball

My only final hope is the longevity of the pants, specifically once off the 1 year warranty, as they have been replaced once already under the warranty. Here’s to hoping, but again totally amazing support and highly recommended at least trying. Also once you’re used to the tighter pants these becomes more comfortable than bulky custom fit braces.

I love my new Stokos. I have been wearing Stokos since mid-2023 and these are by far the most comfortable design. The fabric is soft and warm and breathes well. The waistband is much more comfortable around the hips and the band around the calf causes no chafing. I wear them every day when exercising or hiking and feel my knees are well-supported and warm. I never want to go back to regular braces.

I do miss the pocket to keep my phone safe. The sizing chart can be misleading. I have tried the medium in Gen 1 tights, but now wear large which is much more comfortable.
