Seem to be well made and suit for purpose

I don’t often write reviews…Only when something is really, really worth it. These knee support pants are amazing. I was looking for an alternative to my custom fit titanium brace after re-injuring my knee with the brace on while active. I don’t recall how I heard about this company, but with the money back guarantee I figured why not try. They are tight to fit into initially, but immediately felt more supportive than any brace I had ever previously used bringing back full confidence in quick movements. More so, within about 7 months of x2-3 use/week the cables did malfunction…Stoko was easy to deal, timely, and shipped me a new pair under warranty as advertised.

I have been using these consistently for over a year now and haven’t felt weak/sore or worried about my knee once.

For context:

In 2015 I had partial tears of my MCL and ACL, no surgery. Rehab and brace only.
Injured my meniscus with brace on in 2022. My weakness and lack of confidence since 2015 was always mainly side to side movement/pivoting with speed/force.

Since switching to Stoko pants I haven’t had any issues, nor the soreness afterwards with the following activities:

Ball hockey/hockey
Squash
Pickle ball/tennis
Volleyball

My only final hope is the longevity of the pants, specifically once off the 1 year warranty, as they have been replaced once already under the warranty. Here’s to hoping, but again totally amazing support and highly recommended at least trying. Also once you’re used to the tighter pants these becomes more comfortable than bulky custom fit braces.

I love my new Stokos. I have been wearing Stokos since mid-2023 and these are by far the most comfortable design. The fabric is soft and warm and breathes well. The waistband is much more comfortable around the hips and the band around the calf causes no chafing. I wear them every day when exercising or hiking and feel my knees are well-supported and warm. I never want to go back to regular braces.

I do miss the pocket to keep my phone safe. The sizing chart can be misleading. I have tried the medium in Gen 1 tights, but now wear large which is much more comfortable.

The description of how to put your tights on, is accurate. They are not horrible to get into. The material is substantial and feels like it will be durable. I’ve only hiked in them once but they give extra support and are comfortable.

As noted in the Stoko literature the tights are similar to putting on a wet suit. But don’t be discouraged because Previously before using the product my knees would be sore after exercise. Now with the supportive tights my knees feel great and I can exercise every day, something I could not do without the Stoko tights.

After being curious about the Stoko’s since they came on the market I finally bought a pair of Gen 1 Stoko’s to try personally before prescribing to clients. I have since prescribed them to many clients as well a s friends. With a mildly lax ACL and meniscus/MCL strain bilaterally due to years of abuse these really help compress and stabilize my knee and hips. Love them for skiing offering me to ski longer and harder. I crank them tight when hiking down the Chief resulting in way less stress on my knee and hip joints. I am looking forward to using them when I am riding the dirtbike without bulky knee brace.

With an acute Gr 2+ ACL / MCL tear i dont feel these would take the place of a Custom brace but for all those aging athletes I don’t hesitate to endorse Stoko’s to help keep having fun and enjoying the sport of choice.

I do find the Boa tensioners in the back a bit awkward at times and wonder if they would be better in a more lateral position but that nitpicking a great product.

I look forward to stocking these in the clinic for resale to all our aging or injured athletes.

I already own K1 leggings and I used them for cross country skiing this winter after ACL and meniscus injury last year. I needed something for downhill skiing and hiking too. These K2 leggings indeed offer more support and I feel more confident in them. Maybe a little bit harder to wear than K1, but I don’t feel any discomfort once they are on. Highly recommend for people recovering from injuries!

I‘ve put it on 4 times so far as the “breaking” process required. It is not easy to put it on and I was afraid that I would tear it. Yet the material is increditably resilient with the strategically placed cable. Once it’s in place, it is really comfortable and I can feel the support through my groins, thighs and knees symmetrically. No hinder to movement at all and it is warm!
Perhaps it’s my belly fat, I find the waistband (which is without the cable) at the top keeps curling down (just to remind me of my out of shape chord muscles). Yet once I get moving then I will forget about it.
Already ordered the 2nd generation and look forward to try it in Spring.

Great support. Bought for hockey and snowboarding. Really helps the knee discomfort.

I’ve used them for alpine hiking, skiing and snowshoeing. Once you conquer putting them on properly they are most comfortable. No need for knee braces, ( caused by arthritis) so they really work for me!

As a Senior, far exceeded my expectations. Now I am to down hill ski!

I have a complex meniscus tear and partial ACL tear in my left knee and these have given me great support for snowboarding!

I am a 62 year woman who has been downhill skiing for over 40 years. I love skiing but my knees are not great anymore, I will need a knee replacement soon. I love my K1 summit Stokos, I bought my first pair in March 2024. I can ski longer each day, do bumps again - without knee pain. I can ski two or more days in row again, before Stokos, I could only ski one day and then ice and rest my knee before I could ski another day. I tell everyone about them. I just bought a pair of the second generation ones, not sure I like them as much as the first generation. I would not go on the slopes without them and the 24/25 season is going great!!! Will alternate between the two pairs and see which ones I like better. I do wish they weren't built for straight skinny people as I am not but what they do for my knees is worth a little bit of discomfort around the waist if the waist rolls down a bit if I don't get them positioned correctly. The second generation seems a bit worse for this then the first generation ones.

What I enjoy most about this product are the reactions that I get to the contortionist dance that is about getting the things on and off. These stockings are not going to get you any dates. But with my knee, the Stokos help me ski. And at my age and stage, that’s what’s important to me. Recommended.
