Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
Start Date: March 2025
About the Role:
As Stoko’s Inventory & Operations Lead, you will oversee and optimize key aspects of our inventory management and operations, driving efficiency across the entire supply chain. Your focus will be on enhancing inventory flow from demand planning and freight management to 3PL coordination, last-mile delivery, and reverse logistics. You’ll be responsible for identifying and implementing operational improvements while spearheading cost-saving initiatives to streamline processes and boost overall performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management and Demand Planning ○ Build and execute against supply and demand forecasts to meet business objectives.
- Analyze inventory flow, optimize stock levels, and reduce excess inventory to optimize working capital and operational efficiency.
- Leverage inventory management systems to monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across the business ensuring real-time stock levels are updated.
- Operational Coordination
- Manage freight and work with forwarders to hit business objectives while maintaining appropriate stock levels and optimizing cost.
- Set up, manage, and optimize 3PL relationships to deliver efficient fulfilment and reverse logistics operations.
- Collaborate with carriers and 3PL partners to enhance last-mile delivery performance, focusing on improving service levels and reducing costs.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Analyze data to identify trends, optimize supply chain performance, and reduce costs.
- Leverage technology and tools to improve efficiency and visibility across supply chain activities.
- Provide regular reports on inventory status, supply chain metrics, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3-5 years in inventory, supply chain and operations, preferably in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or eCommerce environment.
- Strong background in supply chain management, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and 3PL partnerships.
- Proven ability to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across operations, from sourcing to customer delivery.
- Familiarity with eCommerce systems (e.g., Shopify), order management, and back-end integrations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven improvements.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and optimizing working capital in an operations context.
- A focus on improving customer experience through operational excellence, with a track record of addressing customer pain points efficiently.
- Ability to manage challenges and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
