eCommerce + Customer Experience Manager

Compensation: Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Start Date: March 2025

 

About the Role:

 

As Stoko’s eCommerce + Customer Experience Manager, you will be responsible for key eCommerce platforms including Shopify, Gorgias, and Extensiv. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, refine existing systems and build new ones, and establish KPIs to align systems with business goals.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • E-commerce Operation:
    • Maintain smooth day-to-day operations across e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality from pre-purchase to post-purchase customer interactions.
    • Ensure accuracy and availability of data across platforms, such as product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute campaigns, track performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Systems Management:
    • Oversee integration between eCommerce, inventory management, and customer service platforms.
    • Identify and resolve system issues to ensure smooth order processing, fulfillment, reverse logistics, and data accuracy.
    • Lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technologies and platforms to improve operations and meet business objectives.
  • Customer Experience Oversight:
    • Oversee the Customer Experience team, ensuring the right tools are in place to deliver a top-tier customer experience.
    • Establish and monitor performance metrics for customer service, ensuring that customer inquiries and issues are resolved efficiently and satisfactorily.
    • Design and implement strategies to improve the customer journey, from pre-purchase to post-purchase stages.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure systems align with broader business objectives.
    • Regularly evaluate and implement new tools, software, and processes that improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce operations or systems management, preferably in a fast-paced start-up or growth-stage environment.
  • Strong expertise in Shopify and e-commerce platforms, with a deep understanding of integrations between systems (e.g., accounting, inventory, and customer support).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize operational systems to improve business processes and scalability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to improve customer experience while optimizing internal operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to monitor KPIs and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing systems-related projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
