Job Title: Product Integrity Lead

Start Date: November 2025

Position Overview:

You will be Stoko’s hands-on leader of product integrity. Your mission is to build and own our entire quality framework, from setting raw material standards to executing final product inspections. You will be in the daily operations with Product Development and Operations teams, leading risk assessments on new designs, building and executing test plans, and analyzing factory data and customer feedback. This is a builder's role: you will create the systems, own the standards, and be the final call on whether a product is ready for our customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Product Integrity Framework: Develop, implement, and own the end-to-end product integrity strategy for all Stoko products, including raw materials (textiles, trims), in-process manufacturing, and finished goods.
  • Champion Product Excellence from Concept: Join the product development process to drive proactive risk assessment (e.g., FMEA) during the design and development phases, identifying potential quality, manufacturing, and product experience issues before they arise.
  • Set the Standard for Excellence: Establish, document, and enforce industry-leading standards, test protocols, and sensory, fit/finishing specifications for our unique supportive apparel.
  • Manage Vendor Quality Partnerships: Lead product-excellence relationships with our global manufacturing partners. Guide them as partners to implement factory audits, in-line inspection processes, and final QC approvals to ensure 100% compliance with our design intent.
  • Lead with Data & Insights: Systematically collect and analyze data from factory partners and Customer feedback. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying root causes of product failure and implementing robust corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Integrate With Medical: Bridge apparel integrity and medical compliance by unifying the integrity standards with Stoko’s regulatory frameworks, owning a single system for risk analysis and customer complaints.
  • Test Equipment Development and Maintenance: Depending on your background and experience, you may have the opportunity to build and maintain our testing equipment (please let us know if this excites you in your cover letter).
    • Design, build, test, and maintain test equipment, including tensile testers, cyclic testers, biofidelic test fixtures, and 3D printers.

    • Utilize a combination of software, microcontrollers (Arduino), and mechanical engineering tools (SolidWorks & 3D printing) to build and maintain the equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in product integrity, quality, or technical development. Experience in technical apparel or performance sportswear
  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Project Management or a related field.
  • You are a "product person” with an aptitude to learn and tackle new, complex technical challenges.
  • Understanding of the apparel/technical apparel industry (E.g. garment construction, performance textiles, and apparel manufacturing processes)
  • Knowledge of medical regulatory requirements or experience in a regulated industry is an asset
  • A P.Eng designation is an asset.
  • Awesomeness.

Perks and Benefits:

We are a team that loves to laugh together, learn from each other, and take care of one another. As a full-time employee at Stoko, you will be eligible to receive a group benefits package, as well as a health spending account to cover healthcare costs such as dental, vision care, RMT and more.
